Your XBUS voucher is valid until 30 September 2021, until then you can use your voucher and secure your savings of 1,000.00 €. This applies to all voucher holders for whose country the XBUS configurator has already been activated. If the XBUS Configurator is not yet available for your country, your voucher will not expire on 30.09.2021, but at the earliest 8 weeks after your country has been activated for the configurator and you have been able to use the XBUS Configurator.

The XBUS is expected to be available from the third quarter of 2022.
Our goal is to provide the XBUS as soon as possible after the market launch in Europe. Further details to follow shortly.
Each module is expected to cost between approximately € 1,200 and € 17,000.
The basic package includes 8 battery modules at 1.25 kWh each, which provides a range of approx. 200 kilometres in City Mode and up to 140 kilometres in Mix Mode. An optional 4 battery module package for extended range is available for purchase. The cost of the 4-package is expected to be around € 1,600. The planned total capacity is 24 modules.

Depending on the module, the XBUS has two to four seats with safety belts. Even though there are four seats, a maximum of three passengers may be transported due to the vehicle class.

Work on additional product versions is already underway with information to follow shortly.

The decision on funding is imminent, but an exact amount cannot yet be determined.

A trailer hitch will be available as an option. How high the tensile load will be can only be determined after the prototyping is completed.

A bicycle carrier will be optionally available.

The Camper module will have a pop-up roof that reaches a height of 2.20m.

The bed will have a lying surface of about L210cm x W130cm.

The camper module is expected to include a reclining area, a kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator, hotplate, fresh water and grey water tanks.

The difference between the standard and the off-road version is the latter's higher ground clearance (4-6 cm), as well as a modified higher chassis, including adapted suspension tuning.

There will be the possibility of financing or leasing.

The XBUS can be charged via household electricity, at the quick charger, via a battery exchange at our battery exchange stations and of course via solar.

The XBUS will have a 230V socket.

The modules can be rented from our dealers, the battery modules both from the dealer and at our battery exchange stations.

If, in the meantime, your personal circumstances have changed or you no longer prefer the chosen configuration, you can completely reconfigure your XBUS in the final configurator or even cancel it. You are not bound by your original reservation. In the event of a cancellation, you will of course receive your reservation fee back (minus the processing fee of € 150).

The XBUS is built from materials such as natural fibres, composites, aluminium, steel, wood and recyclable plastics. The vehicle is therefore 98%-99% recyclable.

The solar roof is always standard.

The total area of the solar roof varies depending on the module selected.

The solar module of the driver's cab can generate 260 Wp, the centre cabin 360 Wp and the rear module 200 Wp.

The weight of a battery module will be approx. 9 kilograms.

We expect our European dealers to be able to offer test drives starting the third quarter of 2022.

The price difference between the standard and the off-road version is expected to be around € 2,200.

We can achieve the specified consumption and the associated range due to the lightweight construction, the wheel hub motors and the integrated solar.

A bench seat legally offers space for two people.

The XBUS will feature an integrated crash box. The rollover capable cabin makes it the safest light vehicle available today. In future we are already planning integrations of active safety systems like ESC, blind spot and hill start assist, etc., as well as passive safety systems such as airbag and headrests, among others – even where those are not required for light vehicles.

The XBUS is in homologation class L7e-B2.

The XBUS' wheel-integrated motors, lightweight design as well as the solar roof and recuperators mean that it only requires 5 to 10 kWh for every 100 kilometres. This way, the basic version with its eight battery modules (10 KWh) is able to achieve a range of 100 to 200 kilometres.

We market our discarded batteries to electricity storage farms. There, they are further used for the intermediate storage of electricity from wind and solar energy. They are then recycled by specialised companies.

The XBUS has automatic heating and optional air conditioning. The vehicle will automatically preheat the interior and the batteries via solar power and when it is plugged into a socket or charging station above a certain temperature. This can be set via the APP. The same applies to the air conditioning in summer, if this has been ordered.

The batteries are equipped with protected deformation zones and thus slide only slightly to the side or forward in the accommodated area.
The windows in the front and in the middle of the camper module can be opened. The pop-up roof will have a ventilation function that enables climate exchange.

We use integrated wheel hub motors that are not connected to one another via an axle. Each individual motor has a peak output of around 300 NM, which adds up to the total system performance. Furthermore, there is neither a gearbox nor a differential, which means the individual motor's power can be applied to the wheel without any loss of power.

The wheelbase is expected to be approx. 2200 mm.

The track width is expected to have the following widths:

Standard version: front: 1352 mm, rear 1287 mm

Off-road version: front 1418 mm, rear 1353 mm

The overhang at the front is expected to be 964 mm and 781 mm at the rear.

This can vary depending on the module and accessories.

The standard tyre size is 185/75 R16.

The slope angle of the standard version is expected to be 26 degrees at the front and 41 degrees at the rear.

The off-road version is expected to be 31 degrees at the front and 41 degrees at the rear.

The ramp angle of the standard version is expected to be 31 degrees.

The off-road version is expected to have a 40 degree ramp angle.

The loading height of the standard version is expected to be 955 mm.

For the off-road version it will probably be 1005 mm.
